A route (approximate and non-binding):
Nottingham - Market Harborough - Northampton - London - Canterbury-Dover
Dunkirk - Cassel - Arras - Laon - Epernay - Bar-sur-Aube - Besançon - Pontarlier
Montreux-Aigle-Martigny-Grand St.-Bernard
Aosta - the Langhe - Passo del Turchino - Genova - La Spezia - Lucca - Livorno - Grossetto - Civitavecchia - Rome. The last bit is a bit vague still. Tuscany is lumpy (e ho paura che Maremma mi sfacerà), but the coast road may not all be bike-friendly.

Are you planning to get there in five days?
And you're doing the St. Bernard? Good boy.
Much love.

Heh, no. More like 20 days,
Hm... I wonder... Should I come say hi while you're in Switzerland?
Will be great to see anyone I know along the way, Cindy. All the plans are fairly fluid, depending on how rapidly I can turn my unfitness around, but keep an eye on here...
What's your route through/round London? We should be able to arrange a peleton for you, and paint the roads ahead.
Depends where I start from. May stay in London on Monday night, or may stay at my mum's (in which case I'd be coming in downon Tuesday morning down the Harrow Road) and out on the A2 and wherever I felt like in between.
ooh, Harrow Road, that's 200 yards from me! When do you leave?
Sunday
in case you no longer have it, my mobile number is 348 and then 271 6300.
